Junior software engineer in the Infotainment and Connectivity team at Rivian.

Joined the Navigation app team for my first industry experience. Early on, I focused on restoring and expanding the unit test suite, which contributed to a broader shift toward improved test coverage — first within our team, and later across the Infotainment org. By the end of my internship, unit tests had become mandatory for all merge requests in the CI/CD pipelines.

Later in the internship, I was the sole vehicle-side developer on two customer-facing features: per-profile saved destinations and live trip status, both of which now appear in the mobile app. I also fixed a wide range of bugs and became deeply familiar with the codebase through hands-on debugging and development work.

Worked with a high degree of trust and autonomy, contributing production code to a real-world, large-scale automotive product. It was a great environment to learn and grow in, and a perfect first experience in the industry.
